While we wont be getting a new design to the Ford Ranger pickup for the 2010 model year, Ford Motor of Europe will unveil their redesigned 2010 Ford Ranger at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show next month with sales to begin later in April.

Design will be heavily influenced by the Ford Ranger Max Concept seen at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2008 last year. The new 2010 Ranger will offer seating for up to five passengers with a towing capacity of 3,000kg (6,600 lbs).

The new 2010 Ford Ranger will be made available?in three body-configurations and?a choice?of a 143-hp 2.5L or 156-hp 3.0L TDCi turbo diesel engines mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission.
