Porsche Cayenne Diesel entering into India

In order to bring out the opulent car Porsche Cayenne Diesel to India some discussions are under motion with Germany. In Middle East and Asia, the Porsche is intending to bring the diesel model opulent car. Presently, the cars are produced at Leipzig in Germany and from February 2009 it will also be available in some select European markets. Porsche wants to bring the luxury car to Indian market even though the car was mainly designed fro the European markets. 

 

The novel opulent car comes with a three litre V6 turbo diesel engine with 240 HP (176 KW) provided by Audi AG. A standard is adopted by the car with the tried and tested Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Moreover, there are seven more models in their product line.

 

For the past 60 years in their history, Porsche has not implemented diesel engines in its passenger cars and now it comes as novel one with this implementation. Only in the tractors Porsche used the diesel engines and now it entered into passenger car too. For its high level performance and style, Cayenne has been appreciated frequently as an SUV but till now it didn't get anything fro its fuel economy. Further, the Audi's novel 3.0 liter V6 Turbo Diesel engine is anticipated to do go aside with that aspect. 

 

The preparations for market introduction in other countries are in progress, said the company to press. The company intends to mean that there is different possibility the SUV could be provided in India. Adding, the potential time frame is not lucid yet. India's largest selling Porsche is the Cayenne and further the diesel version of the same is anticipated to sell in higher range level.
