2008 Essen Auto Show: Eibach Dodge Challenger
ESSEN, Germany — Eibach adds to the list of modified Challengers with its customized vehicle that made its debut at the 2008 Essen Auto Show.
Although the 6.1-liter Hemi V8 remains factory spec with 425 horsepower, Eibach has endowed the Dodge beast with an extensive suspension treatment that includes a set of Eibach System Multi-Pro-R2 coil-over shocks and huge 22-inch O-Z rims wrapped in Toyo Proxes tires.
The exterior features the classic Dodge orange paint accented by two black racing stripes, racing graphics with a special '01' number on the side and a unique body-matching orange lip on each of the rims.
Interior accoutrements include a DVD-capable multimedia unit by Alpine, a 10-inch subwoofer and a variety of new trim pieces to continue the orange theme.
The car was converted from U.S. standards to meet German lighting and license regulations, so there is a possibility for small-volume production.
