As a result of decline in demand and capex crunch owing to the shift from Singur to Sanand the launch of diesel Tata Nano has been delayed. First the gasoline version is going to be launched in the first quarter of the next calendar year. Initially the gasoline engine will be launched with consequent efforts to come up with the diesel and CNG engines.
