The Reckoning: Force TriCharger

MIAMI — Force Performance describes itself as 'a full-service performance and hot-rod shop.' The emphasis is on 'hot' with the Force TriCharger, a rather different spin on the Dodge Charger. Why TriCharger? Peek under the domed hood of this two-door Charger conversion and you'll discover a radically altered Hemi V8, fitted with a MagnaCharger supercharger, plus twin GT40 turbochargers, as well as all the assorted plumbing.Force hasn't specified power output other than to claim the TriCharger offers 'half the doors, three times the horsepower.'As part of the conversion from four doors to two, Force has fitted an extended nose and front airdam, a hood scoop, flared rear fenders and an integrated rear spoiler. Under the skin are upgraded Brembo brakes, high-strength axles, a lowered suspension and three-piece COR wheels.Inside the car, Force is installing custom leather seats and trim, leather-and-suede door panels and Auto Meter Cobalt gauges.Inside Line says: The straight-line performance potential boggles the mind. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
