Toyo Tire Multitasks With Partners

CYPRESS, California - Toyo Tire will flaunt the latest in high-performance rubber on an assortment of custom vehicles at the upcoming 2008 SEMA Show.

Among the cars on display at the Toyo stand will be a 2009 Nissan GT-R, massaged by Bulletproof Automotive and fitted with Toyo's new Proxes R888 tires - 285/35ZR20s in front and 315/30ZR20s in the rear, mounted on BBS LM-DBK-P wheels. The GT-RR as it's called, also sports an Amuse Super Tough Titanium (STT) exhaust system, Endless monoblock six-pot brakes and a variety of carbon fiber add-on pieces.

A companion to the GT-R is a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X customized by Vivid Racing, its 650 horsepower channeled to the pavement via a set of Toyo Proxes R1R extreme performance tires mounted on 18-inch AME Tracer 02 wheels.

Nostalgia buffs may appreciate the custom1931 Studebaker Model 54 hot rod, built by Choppin' Block Custom Fab, while truckers will be entertained by a wild 2009 Toyota Tundra CrewMax SR5 modified by Two Brothers Custom Trucks.
