LUSTENAU, Austria — Oberscheider Chip Tuning has gotten its hands on an Audi R8 and and applied a serious engine tuning treatment.Engine modifications for both Audis are limited to a custom-made sport exhaust system, freer-flowing intake and an OBD port hookup, but those lead to a substantial jump in power. The R8 gets 26 extra horsepower (bumping it up to 446 hp) and now lays down 332 pound-feet of torque. Audi's top-of-the-line sports car with the O.CT kit can sprint to 60 mph in less than 5.3 seconds and hit a maximum speed of 193 mph. These modifications help the twin-turbocharged RS6 supercar make 650 hp compared to the stock 580-hp figure, and 553 pound-feet of torque. Equipped with the correct tires, the RS6 is capable of a top speed of 202 mph and makes it to 60 mph in a less than 4.9 seconds. O.CT also offers a more intense 700-hp kit that includes a unique carbon fiber roof spoiler.No appearance modifications were made — even the factory wheels remain on these powerful German vehicles.
