In August 2008, the Renault group sold 153,887 vehicles (PC+LCVs) worldwide under its three brands, Renault, Dacia and Renault Samsung Motors, down 5.8% compared with August 2007 (unadjusted figures, with two fewer days than in 2007). Renault reported an 8.5% drop in worldwide sales, while Dacia posted a 15.9% rise and Renault Samsung Motors sales a fall of 5.5%.
