A tenth of a second on one lap may not seem like much...but in a 10 lap race..that's a 1 sec difference. It also depends on how the car holds up under all that strees for 10 laps...the time difference may even be bigger. As far as which I would choose. It all boils down to preference...drive both cars and you will feel a difference in their performance...whichever provides the best experience then that's the one you buy I guess. For me a sports car has to have a 'raw' quality to it and feel like a beast. The Lexus tones down that quality too much by being too luxury oriented. So the M3 would be my choice!
