Toyota will be showing the 2009 Toyota Avensis next month at the 2008 Paris Motor Show - but in the mean time it keeps releasing little details and a couple of pictures here and there. Today we see the front of the 2009 Toyota Avensis sedan and a side-profile of the Toyota Avensis Tourer (station wagon).The third-generation of the Avensis was designed at ED2, Toyota’s design studio in France. Toyota says that active and passive safety standards are taken to a higher level with new safety features like Steering-assist Vehicle Stability Control (VSC+), Adaptive Front Light System (AFS) and Pre-Crash Safety System (PCS).No powertrain details are available as of yet but Toyota says that the engines will be both more powerful and more fuel-efficient.Click through for more images...
