The tyre was designed by Cooper's engineers in the United States, where one out of every four 4x4 tyres sold in the US replacement market is made by Cooper Tire.

Designed specifically for sporty SUV vehicles such as the BMW X5, Mercedes M Class, Honda CR-V and Lexus RX400, the XSTA is Cooper’s most luxurious 4x4 tyre to date, and has a unique dual tread in order to master both wet and dry conditions.

The inner tread design expels water in all four directions to offer incredible traction and control in wet weather, but the outer part of the tyre also makes sure your steering response in the dry is crisp and direct.

The XSTA will also wear evenly because of its complex construction, and overall will offer those who prefer to stick to the highways rather than the byways a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride.

Cooper’s latest in a long line of acclaimed 4x4 tyres is available in 18, 22 and 24-inch sizes, with 15, 16 and 17-inch sizes to be offered later in the year.
