MISSISSAUGA, ON - Mark Grimm, President, Nissan Canada Inc., is pleased to announce two internal shifts within Nissan Canada Inc., effective immediately.

Allan Smerek will move from Director, Infiniti Dealer Operations to Director, Aftersales and Quality Assurance. Replacing Smerek as the new Director, Infiniti Dealer Operations will be Wendy Durward, former Director, Marketing Communications.

"Nissan Canada is thrilled to see Allan and Wendy in these new roles," said Mark Grimm. "As an organization, we feel we have a very bright future ahead, and in their new roles, Wendy and Allan will certainly help steer us in the right direction."

Allan Smerek will be responsible for aftersales operations, parts, service, quality assurance and the parts distribution centres and will report directly to the President. Departments reporting to Smerek will include Aftersales Field Operations, Parts/Service Sales, Quality Assurance, Consumer Support and Parts Logistics.

Wendy Durward is now responsible for managing the Infiniti Division reporting directly to Jeff Parent, Vice-President, Sales & Marketing. Reporting directly to Durward will be Infiniti District Operation Managers and Aftersales Operations Managers.

Aftersales and Infiniti divisions continue to see strong current year-to-date growth with seven per cent and 15 per cent increases respectively over last year.
