At 10:00am of 10 July 2008, a press conference for the GW Wingle was held in Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel located in Jakarta by Indomobil Group, the distributor of GWM in Indonesia. More than 50 local media in newspaper, magazine, broadcast, and TV attended this conference and pushed to interview and put forward questions to the representatives from GWM and the distributor, showing their passion as well as expect to the Wingle.
