Beck/Arnley Introduces New Brake Pad Category

Beck/Arnley has added a category of foreign branded brake pads to its brake and chassis product module. This category will complement the existing range of Beck/Arnley brand OE replacement pads and Axxis brand brake pads. The brake pads will be sourced from leading foreign suppliers and provide the foreign nameplate specialist with another first-rate foreign brand. This is an important consideration in a segment that can be as emotional as it is technical.
The first product in this new brake category is from Sumitomo (SEI) Brake Systems, Inc., an OE supplier, and Japan's first disc brake manufacturer. The company offers premium brakes for automotive applications that provide excellent heat dissipation and stable braking action.

"We are pleased to introduce this new category of foreign brand brake pads as it further expands our range of product offerings to fill the evolving needs of our foreign nameplate customers," said Sona Grubbs, product manager for brakes. "We will be adding other brake pad suppliers for Asian and European applications in the near future."

Beck/Arnley is dedicated to supporting its distribution partners who service the foreign nameplate repair market. Founded in 1914, Beck/Arnley's broad product offering is organized into six modules: Brake & Chassis, Electrical, Clutch & Driveline, Engine Management, Engine Parts & Filtration, and Cooling Systems. Headquartered near Nashville, Tenn., Beck/Arnley distributes parts to resellers through its MDC in Smyrna, Tennessee, and strategically located satellite customer care centers.
