FAW Group sales grow 10 pct in Sept

FAW Group sold 116,000 motor vehicles in September this year, 1,287 units more than planned and up 10 percent month on month.
 
FAW-Volkswagen sold 39,361 motor vehicles in September, and a total of 382,845 units in the first nine months, up 10.8 percent year on year, ranking first among Chinese automakers.
 
FAW Car sold 10,735 units in September, including 6,093 Mazda 6 and 4,546 Besturn; and a total of 90,485 units in the first nine months, up 59.6 percent year on year.
 
FAW-Toyota sold 27,251 units in September and a total of 283,464 units in the first nine months, up 20.7 percent year on year. Of this, sales of new Corolla reached 122,749 units, up 367.2 percent.
 
FAW-Jiefang sold 7,001 units in September and a total of 122,986 units in the first nine months, up 22.3 percent.
 
FAW Group sold a total of 1.2 million motor vehicles in the first nine months, up 13.9 percent year on year; its share in China's auto market is 16.6 percent, 0.3 percentage points higher year on year. To be specific, sedans sold totaled 966,686 units in the first nine months, up 17 percent; and medium and heavy-duty trucks, 142,388 units, up 15 percent.
