2009 Detroit Auto Show: Subaru Legacy Concept

DETROIT — Subaru says its aptly named Legacy Concept is just that: A peek at the next-generation Legacy midsize sedan, due to arrive at U.S. dealerships in early 2010. The concept is being officially unveiled in January at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show.Subaru isn't providing much detail beyond a teaser shot of the concept's front end and the word that a new 3.6-liter flat-6 engine will find its way under the hood. As always, the Legacy will feature all-wheel drive.Inside Line says: We're so disappointed — Santa promised us an early peek at the upcoming Toyobaru sports car. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
