Mercedes-Benz E-Class and C-Class hybrids coming to the U.S.
The 28 mpg 2010 Mercedes-Benz S 400 BlueHYBRID will come to the U.S. in Sept. 2009 - but that isnt the only hybrid the German automaker has in the pipeline for the U.S.Following the S-Class hybrid, Mercedes-Benz will introduce an E-Class hybrid when the next-generation model arrives in 2010. That will be followed by a C-Class hybrid when the model refreshed in early 2011. In 2012, Daimler will start building between 12,000 and 15,000 electric Smart ForTwos annually.
