Kia Soul Makes Formal Debut — Where Else — in Seoul

SEOUL, South Korea — The Kia Soul, which is taking the Korean automaker down a new path in design, was unveiled here on Monday. The gasoline version of the Soul gets a price tag of 14 million won, the equivalent of about $12,600, Kia said in a statement. But prices for the U.S. were not yet announced.The Soul is set to go on sale in the U.S. next spring. The Soul is noteworthy because it shows the new influence of Peter Schreyer, the former head designer at Volkswagen, who was hired by Kia in 2006 to redo its lineup.
