VW bringing turbodiesel Touareg to LA Auto Show

The V10 TDI is slick. Always wanted one. Over 500 lb-ft torque is very desirable for an SUV that doesn't look like it could have any muscle at all. The 'sleeper' powertrain of the decade. Having 17c/22h fuel numbers are descent for an SUV having so much power.Rode behind one in southern Maryland a few years ago. The highway had a lot of rolling hills and curves...the Touareg looked great the whole trip. I wish I could get one loaded & with rear DVD monitors in the headrests.
