The Bosch parking assistant takes the stress out of parking. The system uses ultrasonic sensors to precisely measure parking spaces and then moves the car into a space, without drivers having to steer the vehicle themselves. Automatic parking is as fast as with an experienced driver. The system is available for the first time in the latest Mercedes-Benz A and B class. In the face of increasing traffic density, less and less available parking space, and rising demands for convenience, the Bosch parking assistant makes day-to-day driving much easier. 

For tight spaces too

The parking assistant requires a vehicle configuration with electric power steering, a parking aid, and an additional ultrasonic sensor on each side of the front fender. These two ultrasonic sensors are needed to measure a potential parking space as the car drives by at up to 35 kilometers an hour.
