Chinese vehicle export growth slows, imports surge in H1

The number of vehicles exported from China rose by 58.5% in the first half of 2008 to 361,000 units, but this represents a slowdown from the growth rate recorded last year. By contrast, vehicle imports into the country during the period surged by 75.6% to 212,000 units.
