Bosch & Samsung joint venture for lithium-ion batteries

In June 2008, Robert Bosch GmbH and Samsung SDI Co. Ltd. signed an agreement to form a fifty-fifty joint venture to develop, manufacture, and sell lithium-ion batteries for automotive applications.
