Ross-Tech offers Version 8 of its VAG-COM Diagnostic System

Ross-Tech has recently released Version 8 of the VAG-COM Diagnostic System in beta form.
 
¡°We believe we have the only aftermarket tool, which is already usable on the new Audi B8 platform; the A5/S5 and upcoming all-new A4 model cars," says Uwe Ross, owner of Ross-Tech. "Although we currently consider it a Beta, we expect to provide a full stable release version early in the second quarter.¡±
 
The VAG-COM Diagnostic System (VCDS) is the only tool in the aftermarket that turns a standard PC into a factory level tool for VW-Group cars worldwide, according to the company.
 
With the new version, Ross-Tech is also introducing a new product name and product logo. Henceforth, the VAG-COM Diagnostic System will be called "VCDS" and will feature a unique logo.
 
¡°Although we are changing the product name, we are not changing the way we do business," adds Ross. "We will continue to offer the system at a price which many of our customers consider too good to be true, along
with free updates and a level of product support which we believe is unmatched in this industry.¡±
