Kwik-Fit Fleet launches while-you-wait servicing at Fleet Business Show

Kwik-Fit Fleet is launching a new while-you-wait service at the UK¡¯s first Fleet Business Show being held at the Business Design Centre, London today and tomorrow (April 29-30). The first company to sign up to use the service is Lex Vehicle Leasing, which, with 278,000 vehicles on its fleet, is Britain¡¯s largest contract hire and leasing company.

Customers can book a service at a minimum 48 hours notice, whereas Kwik-Fit Fleet says franchise dealers can require up to 14 days¡¯ notice.

Kwik-Fit Fleet is also launching an occupational road risk management survey at the show, in conjunction with RoadSafe, which is managing the Government¡¯s ¡®Driving for Better Business¡¯ programme. The aim of the survey is to find out the actions that senior managers with responsibility for fleet operations and the use of privately-owned cars on business have taken to reduce their organisations¡¯ risk exposure in the light of the implementation of this month¡¯s Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act.
