Snap-on Tools offers tie rod bushing socket

The new tie rod bushing socket (ITRS22) from Snap-on Tools is made to use where a conventional socket won¡¯t fit -- on Chrysler¡¯s LH platform found on the Chrysler LHS, Concorde and 300M, as well as the Dodge Intrepid.

The socket¡¯s low-profile design makes it easy to install or remove the 7/8-inch or 22-milimeter hexagon head bolts that attach the inner tie rod bushing to the rack and pinion, states the manufacturer.

The chrome-plated socket provides technicians the best control with the power and durability they have come to expect with Snap-on and can¡¯t find with other brands, the company adds.
